Job Description:

The Financial Controller assists our CFO in overseeing and managing the bookkeeping, financials and reporting of our Company. In addition, the Controller assists our CFO as needed in various projects and tasks including the development and implementation of our Company policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
 

Job Duties:

  • Prepares financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts on a regular basis
  • Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department
  • Mentors administrators and managers for purposes of ensuring that their reporting duties are done accurately and timely
  • Ensures accurate and timely month and year end closings
  • Ensures financial package is compiled timely and accurately every month for CFO’s review before presenting to ownership
  • Ensures timely and accurate cash and banking reconciliations and reporting
  • Assists with annual audits and other fiscal responsibilities as needed
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken)

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 Years of Accounting experience in the Construction Industry
  • HVAC Industry experience is required
  • Deep understanding of Accounting Principles
  • Microsoft Office experience is a Must
  • Viewpoint Vista experience is a Plus
  • Management experience is Preferred

 

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
