Bodell Construction is a third generation, family owned construction company founded by James H. Bodell in 1972.  Bodell Construction primarily is a heavy industrial contractor specializing in light civil, cast-in-place concrete construction, and mechanical construction.  Our strengths and focus are in process facilities of all types including, but not limited to, power generation facilities, refineries, mining, water and waste water; working in the Western Intermountain region and Hawaii.

POSITION: The Senior Project Manager has primary authority and responsibility for the project safety, budget, schedule, quality and staff during the entire life-cycle of the project. Doing this requires leadership skills, aggressive attitude and an effective project control system. Daily representative of Bodell with the client, and must therefore present themselves professional at all times. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop and maintain a superior SAFETY culture and SAFETY
  • Read and clearly understand the general contractual requirements, which includes the client and subcontractors.
  • Maintain the profitability throughout the project utilizing effective cost control systems and accurate monthly financial reporting, in partnership with the project management team.
  • Possess the knowledge and understanding of how a project should be built, based upon personal experience and observations.
  • Coordinate work with direct hire crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare site generated reports for corporate office, accounting and administration.
  • Effectively communicate with the client, crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Develop a record of successful client relationships.

 

COMMENTS:

 

  • Experience working on a CHP facility project is a plus.
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office 365 and Primavera P6 Contract Manager Software.
  • Use and knowledge of CMiC, View Point, or similar Contract Management Software.
  • Must be willing to relocate per project requirements.
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction supervisory experience.
  • Bachelors’ degree in engineering or construction related field may replace up to 5 years of supervisory experience.
