Nature of Work

Works as member of in-house marketing team to create and coordinate all corporate communication for MMC Corp and its subsidiary companies (MMC Contractors, MW Builders, Countywide Mechanical Systems, Stroh Corporation, and Building Control Services).  Responsible for content creation of internal and external communication mediums.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write and coordinate external communication including news releases, website updates, articles for internally-created industry magazines (Living Systems and Strong Foundation), and copy for annual report
  • Manage all social media sites and content for all brands
  • Manage Intranet, creating posts and editing employee submissions to intranet
  • Manage Living the Values program
  • Manage all public relations campaigns, write press releases, and pitch media
  • Provide executive writing for CEO and corporate management team; manage communications surrounding corporate updates
  • Write and develop copy for sales and recruiting communications materials
  • Support business needs by providing assistance with presentation preparation and copy creation, review, and editing when needed
  • Assist with internal training programs and provide communications training 
  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization

Education                

Bachelor’s degree from four year accredited university in communications, public relations, journalism, mass communication, marketing, or related area.

Experience

Five to seven years related work experience      

Travel Requirements

Requires nationwide and local travel – a minimum average of 20% per year.
