ERP Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Controller looking to experience their role in a new way. This role will provide business user and systems support along with project execution for activities relating to the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, which is the COINS OA and Ti Systems.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Attain deep knowledge in ERP modules, database structure and points of integration with other applications.
  2. Work on ERP projects such as platform installations, upgrades and migrations, data extracts for financial or audit purposes, integration with mobile and cloud technologies, etc.
  3. Ensure the integrity and security of information and access to support company reporting and internal control standards.
  4. Provide ERP application support for all users across the firm.
  5. Lead ERP projects such as platform installations, upgrades and migrations, data extracts for financial or audit purposes, integration with other mobile and cloud apps.
  6. Leverage change and release management process to ensure all platform updates and upgrades are thoroughly tested and signed-off prior to go-live.
  7. Partner with vendor regarding product roadmap, enhancement suggestions and support cases.
  8. Lead projects with operational leaders to drive ERP & process improvement.
  9. Continually enhance the ERP user experience across the firm by using tools such as SharePoint, news feeds and hands-on training or knowledge sharing sessions.
  10. Work at company sites across the US as required during times of key project delivery milestones. May involve traveling up to 20% of the time.

  5. Travel up to 20% of the time.

 

Educational Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business analytics, accounting, finance or business equivalent education and experience (see Qualifications below).
  2. CPA designation required.

 

Qualifications

  1. 8+ years accounting/finance experience.
  2. Controller/Asst Controller Experience (construction industry platforms preferred).
  3. Proven project management experience leading technical projects end to end.
  4. ERP support and implementation experience (construction/service industry platforms preferred).
  5. Fundamental knowledge of accounting and internal controls (construction/service industry preferred).
  6. Phenomenal problem-solving skills, drive to do things the right way and ability to prioritize/triage constantly evolving user needs.
  7. Application testing, change and release management discipline.
  8. Excellent communication skills with ability to present to users and management (including the ability to communicate technical information to “non-technical” users, teammates, and senior management).
  9. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  10. Able to work in a support team environment.
  11. Preferred Technology Exposure: COINS OA/Ti/Character, Citrix XenApp, Sharepoint, Red Hat/CentOS Linux, Windows, Microsoft Office365, Windows & Linux system administration, Crystal Reports.
