We are looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customers focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Logistics Supervisor to work at our Headquarters in Hanover, Pennsylvania. As the Logistics Supervisor the candidate will supervise all aspects of the National Logistics operations at the 101 and 240 Kindig Lane facilities   
 

Logistics Supervisor:

• Utilize BluJay TMS daily to monitor incoming National POs, loading activity and delivery execution
• Coordinate with National product production schedulers, Demand Planners and other Logistics Supervisors to ensure the availability of product for loading
• Allocate National warehouse loader and interplant manpower requirements to ensure the timely movement and loading of product
• Maintains an open line of communication with Contract Carriers and monitors load delivery progress until the load has successfully delivered
• Determines solutions when delivery issues occur with Contract Carriers and communicates the resolution with the National Logistics email distribution group
• Back-up to the National Router position when needed

The ideal candidate for this position must portray working knowledge and experience with DOT regulations and a strong understanding of delivery route optimization. 2-4 years of Logistics experience and an Associate's Degree are preferred. Strong basic math and reading skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required. Interpersonal and supervisory skills needed to lead others and work cross functionally with other departments is essential. This candidate must have the ability to meet deadlines and exhibit strong attention to details.
