American Concrete Company (ACC), a division of Hamilton Construction Co. based in Coburg, OR, is looking for a Construction Equipment Mechanic. American Concrete is a growing construction company that has been in business for more than 30 years and is reputable, respected and licensed in all Western States.
This position entails repairing construction equipment, servicing of various equipment and cleaning of equipment and work area periodically, working to support field operations and operators.
Types of equipment to perform repairs and maintenance to, include but are not limited to:
- Concrete Saws – Gas, Diesel, Hydraulic and Electric Powered
- Power Generators
- Air Compressors
- Vacuum equipment
- Forklifts, Bobcat
- Small Equipment (hand drills, core drills, breakers, etc.)
- Small Engines
- Trucks ranging in size from F850 to F150; Ford, Sterling, Peterbilt, etc.
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, & hydraulic systems
Other items: A valid driver’s license is needed, CDL Class A preferred, but not required. Good communication skills are required and computer skills are helpful. The company can supply tools, or bring your own if you prefer. This position requires occasional travel in Oregon and Washington, but would generally report to our Coburg, Oregon facility. Typical work week is approximately 40 hours, 8 hours a day. Wage depends on experience, but a qualified candidate would begin at a minimum of $20.00 per hour. Position includes paid health benefits at 100% for employee, guaranteed contribution to company 401k plan, company contribution to Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), paid Holidays after 1 year of service, Paid Time Off to be used for sick leave or vacation and a life insurance policy.
