GENERAL POSITION PURPOSE:   This position will provide administrative support to our General Counsel, Human Resources Director and other Company Executives.  Act as the back-up for the Receptionist position.  Will create and distribute memos, correspondence, reports and other documents.   Use of personal computer and other automated office equipment to perform and keep track of work.  Perform other clerical duties as needed.  The hours of this position will be Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm.   

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist General Counsel by transcribing, editing and revising documents.
  • Assist Human Resources Director with reporting, document creation and filing of confidential information.
  • Provide general support to the Marketing Director.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating meetings.
  • Assist all owners (past and present) as needed.
  • Assist with special projects or administrative tasks for other staff members as time allows.
  • Manage staff membership renewals.
  • Make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to Project Management team.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Expert level skills in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain demeanor under stressful situations.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and as a member of a team.
  • Legal background preferred.
  • Dictation translation experience preferred.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required, AA degree preferred.
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Industry experience preferred.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB CONDITIONS:

This job is performed in the office and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.  Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.  He/she must comply with all Company safety requirements in the office.
