Job Summary
Primary responsibilities of the Process Technician are to diagnose and correct malfunctions on the machines. Sets up machines for different products, assists supervisors in operating shift and performs additional duties as required. Applicants selected for this role will be in Apprenticeship status until training criterion have been satisfied and evaluation/certification has occurred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads, comprehends, and follows written work instructions and prints
- Performs job changes on machines following established procedures including camera set up.
- Ability to identify and execute appropriate fire or mechanical adjustments on the machine to correct defects.
- Troubleshoots and identifies machine problems. Routinely checks machine and vials produced.
- Monitors all gauging systems and completes manual checks to ensure process is stable and centered.
- Assists operators in keeping machines loaded.
- Assists in training operators to improve their skills. Evaluates and provides feedback.
- Maintains acceptable standards of housekeeping
- Demonstrates behavior that meets DWK Standards
- Prints legibly on all paperwork
- Performs other duties when required or requested
- Understand DWK's Quality Policy and relevant Quality Objectives.
- May perform any or all of these tasks depending upon work assignment.
- Additional duties as required by Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.
- Observe all safety precautions, rules and regulations. Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Six months continuous employment within the past year.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Manufacturing experience required.
- Previous Vial Operator experience preferred.
