What You Will Do: Our Marketing Coordinator would function as part of a team of marketing and technical professionals to win transportation projects both large and small.
You will actively manage the proposal process on multiple large and small transportation projects. Duties will include:
• Coordinate the go/no go decision meetings.
• Actively manage proposal process; Serve as content manager by evaluating technical content, writing and editing proposal sections, and evaluating and clarifying client requests prior to submittal.
• Coordinate reprographics and production schedules.
• Compile and distribute submittals in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate and direct the efforts of both professional and support personnel, evaluate technical content to confirm that it satisfies the RFP requirements/evaluation criteria, write/edit proposal sections, and independently evaluate and clarify client requests prior to submitting materials.
• Providing storyboarding and theme development for pursuits.
• Prepare base presentations and lead the development of interview materials and practice sessions.
• Assist other staff with tradeshow and conference preparation and participation.
• Maintain accurate pursuit status reports in CRM system. Tabulate information provided by project managers to populate CRM. Distribute weekly CRM reports to managers every Monday morning.
What You Will Bring: The successful candidate will have strong technical, creative writing, and desktop publishing skills. Proficiency needed in Excel, Word, and InDesign or similar desktop publishing software. To succeed in this role, you must be organized, self-motivated, communicate effectively both written and verbally, and use business analytics in decision-making processes. Five years of relevant work experience required. Understanding of transportation industry preferred. Four-year degree in a related field required.
