Job Summary 

The Heavy Equipment Loader Operator will be responsible for loader operation for concrete pipe installation crew. 

Essential Functions

• Follow all required company and general safety rules, policies and guidelines
• Work will include, but not be limited to, loader operation for concrete pipe installation crew.
• Utilize other heavy construction equipment such as a roller, dozer, and backhoe as needed.
• Take direction from job Foreman to perform daily tasks. 
• Carry materials up to 50 lbs
• Climb slopes, ladders, and equipment.
• The above listed duties may require long periods of sitting, walking, and standing.
• Majority of shifts will be daytime.

Required Skills & Experience

• Physical ability to perform assigned tasks
• Physical ability to walk on uneven terrain
• Must be able to climb equipment’s ladder to reach the operators seat
• General operator skills
• Previous experience on CAT 938,950,966, and 980 loaders preferred
• Other heavy equipment experience preferred but not required: excavator, backhoe, loader, dozer, etc.
• Knowledge of finishing roadways
• Valid driver license
• 5+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
