Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key marketing objectives and goals. This position will focus on content marketing, social media and partner marketing. Individual must have strong technical writing, copy writing, communication skills and the ability to manage projects across cross-functional teams. Additionally, incumbent performs office work directly related to the general business operations of the marketing department utilizing the use of discretion and independent judgment. This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
Content Marketing
- Create resources and email marketing programs to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (resources examples include whitepapers, infographics etc.).
- Blog on an ongoing basis in support of your other projects and to attract site visitors through search, social, and our email subscribers.
- Collaborate with designers, product marketing, sales, influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
Social Media
- Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and others.
- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to both spread our brand and our content links.
- Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us.
Partner Marketing
- Manage all partner co-branded marketing materials (print, digital, events).
- Direct monthly partner content and lead generation initiatives to drive leads and sales.
- Manage online events with partners (webinars and online meetings).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in communications, public relations, marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2 - 3 years of experience as a marketing, or communications professional.
- Previous experience with online product management, product marketing or partner marketing highly desirable.
- Must be a self-starter who can prioritize effectively and efficiently manage his/her time and excel in a fast-paced Internet environment.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong computer, written, and verbal skills required.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute.
- Understanding of Marketing Automation tools such as Hubspot.
- Ability to quickly grasp new applications and technologies.
- Strong relating ability including working collaboratively with others; ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Strong problem solving capabilities.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Attention to detail, grammar and accuracy is a must.
