We are currently seeking for a Cost Control Analyst & Implementation Specialist to join the Kirlin Florida team!

 

Position Overview

The Cost Control Analyst & Implementation Specialist reports to the Executive PMO Manager and Director of Project Management.  This position is responsible for Software Implementation (Procore, Autodesk 2016 Integration, Viewpoint, Cosential CRM Software, Microsoft Project, BIM, REVIT and assist with the developing of proprietary Company combined programs), preparing written policies and procedures for implementation and usage of programs, developing and conducting training to support software implementation and usage, data collection, reporting and forecasting on construction projects utilizing construction site personnel for information and site-generated data to analyze cost, variances, budget tracking, schedule, cost-to-date, forecast to complete and billing along with verifying the accuracy of vendor and subcontractors' invoices for payment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with PMO, estimators, schedulers, buyers, site personnel, accounting and finance team members to forecast cost for construction projects.
  • Ensure correct resource loaded schedule.
  • Software Technology Implementation - Procore, Autodesk 2016 Integration, Viewpoint, Cosential CRM Softare, Microsoft Project, BIM, REVIT, and help develop proprietary Company combined programs.  Audit performance to ensure software systems are correlating correctly and populating data accurately.
  • Help to identify changes that can be made or improved within software or other systems to help streamline work flow or improve accuracy.
  • Ensure Viewpoint, Procore and Microsoft Project Schedule are setup and ready for PM users.
  • Write policy and procedures for implementation and usage programs.
  • Analyze effectiveness of software and identify improvements to ease user experience and time for entry, while maintaining accuracy of data, schedule, change orders, cost variances, accruals, actual cost, project cost, etc.
  • Create training manuals and lead training to employees for software across Company for all software implementations.
  • Help employees with questions on usage of software.
  • Oversight to ensure all invoices are processed promptly.
  • Support Project Management with development and processing of change orders.
  • Monitor performance against budget baselines and established performance milestones
  • Analyze cost and schedule information, identify variances, and adjust accruals.
  • Update contract changes and apply cost distribution and tracking analysis.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and progressive cost reporting for management.
  • Identify equipment, staff and material utilization accuracy, risks and issues.
  • Establish performance milestones utilizing Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project scheduling software, Viewpoint cost reporting modules, and dashboards.
  • Attend operations and senior review meetings to provide current project information and potential impacts to project budget or forecast that may/may not be currently identified by the project teams.
  • Assist with identifying cutting edge technology and staying on the forefront of industry programs to provide insight for future platforms that improve productivity.

Qualification Requirements

  • Training/Experience:  Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, BIM, REVIT and Viewpoint is a plus.
