We are seeking an Network Security Analyst that wil be responsible for analyzing and determining security requirements for local and wide area networks. This person must be able to design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions that meet network security requirements. Responsible for integration and implementation of the network security solution. Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development lifecycle. DoD or DLA experience preferred.

Candidates must have a current SECRET clearance.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of all functional, operational & technical elements of the Customer’s IT infrastructure:
  • HW Architecture (Blade Servers, Storage & Networking)
  • Network Architecture (LANs, VLANs & Network Interfaces)
  • Software Architecture (Operating Systems, Commercial SW, Custom SW, Scripts)
  • Domain Architecture (DCs, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Data Import Servers, Web Servers, Print Server, Application Servers etc.) including Active Directory, DNS and Domain/Group Policies.
  • Cross-Domain Interfaces & Data Flow
  • Manage the data backup and restoration systems for the local facility
  • Troubleshooting Active Directory accounts/workstations/Active Directory replication, Exchange online, O365 support.
  • Networking support to include LAN servers etc.
  • O365 experience is a must have.
  • Microsoft Network/server admin
  • Azure (cloud) experience
  • User administration
  • Come to the table with extensive knowledge of Windows Server (primarily 2012 R2/2016) including:
    • Active Directory
    • DNS
    • Group Policy
    • DFS
    • DHCP
  • Active Directory Synching
  • Current Microsoft certifications required
  • The ability to write shell scripts and utility programs for Windows system maintenance is also a plus.
  • Understanding of security and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues with supported applications and their systems and environment; use creativity to produce immediate workarounds for users; isolate the issue if escalating to other teams.
  • Provide detailed technical responses to client requests via phone, email, instant messaging and online ticketing application in a professional and timely manner
  • Contribute to computer and network security using a variety of security-based software products and hardware appliances
  • Solve complex information technology problems in a constantly changing environment. Stay abreast of new technologies, understand how they impact the Client’s products and systems, and recommend changes to systems to reduce or mitigate risks that the Client faces.
  • Qualifications:
  • Required Education & Experience:
    • In Depth Knowledge/Experience with Microsoft Windows Client-Server Network Architectures (Server 2012 or later preferred)
    • Domain Design & Implementation
      • Multi-Domain Architectures
      • LAN/VLAN Architectures
      • Knowledge/Experience with Windows Domain Operations & Maintenance
      • Patch & Update Management (e.g. WSUS, SCCM)
      • Ability to write PowerShell scripts to extract information, automate routine tasks, and configure settings
      • Knowledge/Experience with Linux Server OS (RHEL Preferred)
      • In Depth Knowledge/Experience with Virtualization Technologies and Application to Modern IT Datacenter & Processing Infrastructures (VMware preferred)
      • Knowledge/Experience with High Availability/High Capacity Storage Systems (NetApp Preferred)
      • Knowledge/Experience with Networking Solutions, Including Configuration and Management of Switches, Routers, Firewalls and other Network Appliances (Cisco Preferred)
      • Requires existing Secret Security Clearance
    • Desired Skills:
    • - Microsoft Certified System Engineer Certification (MCSE)

Other Qualifications

  • Configuration of OCSP and CRL hardware and software
  • Hands-on experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) - SafeNet middleware and HSM suites
  • Knowledge and experience developing a Federally Compliant Certificate Policy (CP) and Certification Practice Statement (CPS)
  • Prior experience designing, building, and implementing a federally compliant PKI system
