Cemstone is seeking a Sales Account Representative responsible for construction project management, project bidding, account management, and general promotion of Cemstone products. Additionally, Sales Account Representatives represent Cemstone as a member of industry related associations and organizations, actively participate in industry trade shows, conducts product presentations to customers, owners and specifiers.

Responsibilities

  • Retain existing customer base and market share while also seeking additional opportunities for expanding existing customer base.
  • Gain market share within existing customers through the sale of the complete line of Cemstone’s products and services.
  • Prepare the necessary quotations for the Cemstone related products and services.
  • Promote Cemstone products and services to targeted audiences (owners, engineers and specifiers) via presentations, seminars, demonstrations and participation in industry-related organizations and trade shows.
  • Advise, consult and assist in ensuring that Cemstone products and services are specified on targeted projects as well as general master specifications.
  • Market the environmental benefits of concrete and concrete related systems, i.e. paving, ICF’s, pervious concrete, etc.
  • Complete weekly sales call report for management.
  • Demonstrate Leadership in effectively communicating and establish positive working relationships with key Customer and Cemstone Departmental Personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • Background in concrete and or construction industry preferred.
  • Must cold call or make direct contact in pursuit of new customer.
  • Must be goal oriented, self-motivated and organized.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the concrete industry and related materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to problem solve.
  • Computer proficient - use of Sales Logix and MS Suite.
