Job Responsibilities

• Performing Field Tests and lab tests by following standard test procedures, travel time 25%
• Collect test data using data acquisition systems like eDAQ, LMS
• Perform modal testing for engine system and components
• Setting up lab or field engine test instrumentation
• Perform analysis such as vibration severity assessment, weld/bolted joint analysis, parent material fatigue analysis by following Caterpillar standard test procedures
• Communicate test results and recommended fix to design team

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• 3 years of experience required
• Experience with structural dynamics/vibration, NVH testing and/or structural simulation
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines and a familiarity with dynamics/vibration development/testing/analysis is required

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
