Air Care Limited requires a HVAC Project Sales Representative as a key pre-sales technical advisor and advocate for a range of products (preference given to Daikin experience) to support existing clients and support the company’s growth strategy.


  • Ensure internal and external customers receive a high quality pre-sales technical response to enquiries, providing pre-sales technical information and advising on proposed solutions.
  • Use design software packages to produce pre-sales technical drawings as required.
  • Advise and support colleagues’ using Daikin design software, give training as required.
  • Deliver high quality pre-sales technical presentations to customers at events and seminars as required.
  • Deliver professional pre-sales technical training to aid selection and application for customers as required.
  • Develop and maintain detailed pre-sales technical knowledge of both Daikin and competitor products and their applications; the market and relevant standards and regulations.
  • Ensure all sections of the professional sales cycle for internal and external activities are adhered to.
  • Undertake administrative duties as required related to the role (e.g. reporting, communication, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner to contribute to the department’s performance.
  • Deliver performance and results to meet or exceed the departments sales forecast.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly technically capable individual who is motivated to ensure their required product knowledge and pre-sales technical awareness is of the highest standard.
  • Good general level of education required, an HNC, HND or Degree in an engineering or related qualification would be desirable.
  • Flexible, outgoing and confident individual who is able to work in a busy environment.
  • Self-starter who can work on own initiative and maintain motivation, but also contributes as a team player.
  • Good level of computer literacy – especially in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Autocad/Revit technical design software experience would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with developing complex HVAC solutions
