JOB DESCRIPTION

Type: Full-Time

The IT Support Specialist will provide technology support to both staff and students on campus in a timely and efficient manner all while demonstrating excellent customer service.

The IT Support Specialist will…

  • Create end users accounts as needed
  • Provide phone system support
  • Create and deploy desktop images throughout the company
  • Perform printer maintenance
  • Create SOP’s as requested and required
  • Provide phone support to end users
  • Document trouble tickets accurately
  • Provide on-call support as needed
  • Monitor systems and suggest improvements as needed
  • Update phone systems as needed

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree in related field is preferred
  • Prior experience of 2-5 years in IT Support
  • Must be able to adapt to short deadlines and pressure situations when necessary
  • Travel is required
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of...
    • Computer software packages (installation and operation)
    • Local area networks
    • Computer hardware
    • Computer communication systems and trouble shooting
    • Creating user and group accounts in Active Directory
