Job Description

Under direction from the sales manager, the candidate will be responsible for selling and renewing planned HVAC service agreements to building owners and operators at the Manager, Director, Vice President, and CEO levels. This will be accomplished by successfully promoting the Comfort Systems USA value proposition to building owners and operators while becoming the customer’s trusted adviser.

  • Generate sales leads from cold calling and prospecting.
  • Follow up on technician and office generated sales leads.
  • Estimate and propose planned HVAC service agreements to new customer.
  • Develop a pipeline to support sales quotas.
  • Generate project leads and work with the project sales executives to provide high level, customer focused solutions.
  • Maintain customer relationships through each contract renewal period.

Requirements:

  • Motivated, self-driven sales professional who requires minimal supervision.
  • Ability to have conversations about price.
  • Successfully communicates the Comfort Systems USA SE value proposition as it pertains to preventive maintenance.
  • Builds trusted adviser relationships with building owners and operators at the Director, Vice President, and C-Suite levels.
  • Navigates potentially controversial situations and comes to a mutually agreeable outcome.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity.
  • High level interpersonal communication.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC or related industries is a plus.
