Job Summary
This individual within a project team to develop courseware pages using existing templates in Adobe Animate, Captivate, or similar tools, based on written storyboards.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: July 31, 2018

Employment Type: Hourly W2, non-exempt, no benefits.

Hours of Work: At least 30 hours/week, with the majority of those hours during normal business hours

Location: Primary location is Champaign/Urbana IL - Consideration will given to REMOTE candidates
NOTE: Remote candidates will be required to provide their own computer and MS Office software. Adobe Animate will be provided.

Travel: Travel is not expected for this position.

Responsibilities
• Interprets design documents and efficiently creates courseware pages that integrate text, still images, animation, video, and/or audio
• Tests, troubleshoots, and adapts online courses based on quality feedback
• Reviews work to minimize errors before releasing to quality assurance
• Collaborates with design and technical staff on projects, technical specifications, and deadlines
• Consults with team members on design and delivery of content to ensure functionality and consistency
• Manages time effectively to meet project budget and schedule
• Works well among peers who are passionate about creating great training products
• Communicates well and keeps project manager and project team informed about development status
• Adheres to development deadlines and project schedules
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with team members

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
• Associate’s degree, or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience
• Experience developing interactive content using Adobe Animate or Flash
• Ability to create a page layout that is visually pleasing
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
• Ability to meet project deadlines

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Adobe Captivate, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Graphic design
