We seek an experienced Planner to join our Community Planning and Economic Development Group in our Minneapolis office.

What You Will Do: The Community Planning and Economic Development Group is seeking a planner to handle a variety of clients’ planning and zoning needs, with a primary focus on zoning administration, development review, and community engagement initiatives. This position will also serve to augment a variety of other planning needs that our clients have with regard to day-to-day planning and communications functions. This work includes attending and presentation at planning commission, city council, and stakeholder meetings.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have a four-year degree in urban planning or related field; a minimum of three years of experience in the planning field; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. A positive, can-do attitude and passion for work are also required. Experience leading meetings, presenting to the public/public officials and stakeholders, and formulating recommendations through written reports is required. Preferred candidates will have a masters’ degree in urban planning and AICP certification, five years of experience, and have experience working in a city planning setting (either as a public employee or private sector planner).
