POSITION SUMMARY

The Terminal Operator is responsible for operating all terminal equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, and loading of petroleum products via tank truck, tank car, and barge.  This full-time position is based in Davenport, IA and includes Monday through Friday, daytime hours, but may include mandatory overtime along with weekend or on call hours. Employees must be able to work outdoors during all seasons. This position will also be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance on pumps, meters, heating systems and feedback control systems
  • Receiving products in a safe manner and in accordance with all State and Federal laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
  • Inspecting equipment both as routine maintenance and in order to ensure full functionality and operation
  • Developing and completing reports related to the operation of the facility

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have mechanical, operational, and organizational skills
  • Have a valid driver’s license and be willing to get a CDL
  • Be physically fit for the job
  • Prior experience with industrial maintenance, electrical, or welding preferred
