Job Description

Provide services in the area of shipping and receiving .  Analyze and update process methods, procedures and secondary operations to optimize efficiency and quality within the plastics division. Aid in the objective of achieving total quality and an error free department.

1. Coordinate shipping with sales, production and accounts payable.
2. Run shipping reports and maintain inventory/corrections of finished goods and raw material as required.
3. Complete bill of ladings, documents for Canadian and international Shipments, airbills and ASN's.
4. Receive materials, inserts, components and packages.
5. Distributes all received goods to the appropriate departments.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Must be able to communicate and follow directions. Perform physical capabilities involved with performing job related task, i.e. lifting 55 pounds. Must be able to operate a fork-lift and have a concern for accuracy.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required

Previous Shipping/Receiving experience is a plus
