We anticipate another great construction season in 2018. We have an immediate opening for a full-time entry-level Natural Gas Pipeline Construction Inspector in Fargo, North Dakota. What You Will Do: You will be part of our Construction Services Utility Service Area Team helping perform field observation, verify compliance with the plans and specifications, tracking quantities and as-builts on natural gas pipeline projects. Documentation will include daily diaries on iPad, quantity calculations and backup documentation, letters, memos and spreadsheets. Typical work hours range from 40 to 60 hours per week, 5-6 days per week. Opportunities are also available for winter design work with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Microstation as well as assisting in other engineering disciplines if you have the skillset. What You Will Bring: We have roles for entry level natural gas pipeline inspectors who want to better themselves and want to be challenged. Excellent technical, communication, organizational skills and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record are required. A pre-employment drug test as well as quarterly random drug testing is also required. You must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains associated with construction sites. A minimum of a high school graduate / GED is required. A two year technical degree from an accredited school in a field related to civil engineering construction is a plus, and a degree from a four year accredited college will only increase your opportunities and growth.
