Mechanic-Diesel Truck Technician 

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment for the State of South Dakota with locations in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen and Rapid City.   We are looking to hire people who are seeking a rewarding and stable career. We are now hiring a Truck Technician at our Rapid City location at 1810 Deadwood Avenue at the base of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

A Truck Mechanic/Technician will be able to:

  • Diagnose and repair Class 8 Trucks
  • Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
  • Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
  • Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Diesel Engines, transmissions, chassis and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
  • Previous experience working on Mack Trucks is a plus.
  • Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills.Able to work under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding and professional customer service.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment.
