Formed in 2002 out of a need for high-caliber consultants within the life sciences industry.  Sequence, Inc. is well-known in regulated industries as a validation and engineering services provider, specializing in quality and compliance services for software, IT infrastructure, laboratory instruments, analytical methods, equipment, automation, processes, cleaning and utilities, as well as process optimization, laboratory software support, remediation, regulatory compliance services, system/facility startup and much more.  All of our work is done in-house with oversight from a management team that cut its teeth in regulatory compliance.

We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to support our Greenville engineering facility in day to day activities.  This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support clerical and organizational/analytical operations.  To be successful in this position, a candidate will need to have experience with general office-administration activities such as activity coordination, data entry and compilation, and resource utilization and scheduling. This person will act as a client/customer liaison to address any questions related to parts orders, invoicing, etc., and will report directly to the IAC Engineering Manager. 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies under director of IAC Engineering Manager
• Order parts from distributors per Bill of Materials as needed
• Serve as liaison between distributors and/or clients to address any questions related to parts orders, invoicing, etc.
• Compile data from completed projects to serve as reporting for weekly client updates
• Assist with resource loading on a week to week basis to ensure employees are fully utilized
• Organize/Schedule events for supplier demos, employee training, client audits, etc.
• Greet and direct visitors

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Great organization skills
• Friendly personality
• Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to obtain technical knowledge for communication with distributors and clients
• Ability to work with limited supervision and direction

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in office management or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and maintaining confidentiality
  • Understanding of electrical components and how they function is a plus
