We're looking for an experienced draftsman to join our Preconstruction Team. As we work with clients to bring their ideas to the table, we're looking for you to create and modify drawings to support client needs and meet expectations as defined by Preconstruction and Project Managers. You will be responsible for drawing architectural and structural features of buildings for construction projects using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software, working from rough sketches and specifications created by Project Managers, Engineers, and Architects.  Also looking for you to take on your own projects in a design aspect to put details to architectural plans from your knowledge of building techniques, specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures for new buildings. Able to work under pressure and provide a quick turnaround on drawings from 10,000 to 300,000 square feet. Prior knowledge of agricultural building design and construction is desired. Background in clash detection and BIM/VDC capabilities a plus.
