Job Summary

The Engineered Sales Associate will work closely with the Director of Business Development, Marketing Department, and Sales Management to promote concrete in the civil engineering / commercial engineering industry. Sales and promotion of concrete will focus heavily on the environmental benefits of concrete and related systems, such as Green Building / LEED and environmental product declarations.

• Develop and maintain an annual business plan with outlined goals, objectives and action items.
• Market and promote Cemstone through the National Ready-Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA) ‘Pave Ahead,’ ‘Build With Strength’ and ‘P2P’ campaigns.
• Promote products and services to targeted audiences via presentations, seminars, demonstrations and trade shows.
• Assist Sales Representatives to prospect and develop new accounts.
• Work with Marketing and Engineering departments on integration of projects and initiatives.
• Serve as a second line of support for Cemstone representatives and all customers within the Commercial, Residential, and Civil Sales divisions.
• Partner with Cemstone’s estimating department to create value added proposals.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering registration preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience engineering / architectural experience. Background in concrete and masonry materials, as structural components preferred.
• Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in MN, IA and WI or be able to obtain Professional License in the mentioned states.
• Have extensive knowledge of the concrete industry and related materials.
• Proficiently use a computer and programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as Sales Logix.
