Position Summary

Responsible for providing the overall leadership and the day-to-day management of the human resources efforts for the enterprise. Accountable for serving as a business partner to the executive leadership team.

Essential Duties

 STRATEGY
• Responsible for strategic plan execution by leading your group and the organization towards strategic objectives.
• Consulted on the strategic thinking and planning of the organization. Leads conversations with key company officers and staff to develop strategies. Coordinates investments and creates alignments across the enterprise.

PEOPLE PROCESS
• Accountable for the leadership and management of the human resources efforts for the enterprise.
• Accountable for being the liaison for employees regarding any issues.
• Accountable for the employee anniversary recognition program.
• Responsible for the coordination, implementation and announcements of employee hires and promotions.
• Responsible for exiting employees including conducting closing interviews.
• Responsible for best in class Professional Development Processes (PDP). Ensure that PDP evaluations between managers and employees are executed quarterly throughout the enterprise and/or company.
• Responsible for coordinating Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for all employees as required by executive team.
• Responsible for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) mandated employee program administration.
• Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of employee handbook.
• Responsible for managing legal issues with employees.

STAFFING
• Accountable for working with executive leadership to manage staffing across the enterprise.
• Accountable for ensuring that the recruiting strategic people process efforts for the organization are proactive, follow established procedures and produce the desired outcomes.
• Responsible for administrating the Project Staffing Report for the senior executive team. Informed of the project staff planning of Pike and LECESSE teams being in place and excellent.
• Consulted on the strategic career pathing and succession planning.

COMPENSATION
• Accountable for employment offer approval and letter creation, distribution process for new/rehires.
• Accountable for maintaining salary adjustments and employee incentive bonus schedule across enterprise.
• Accountable for the administration of the travel compensation program and producing reimbursable checks.
• Accountable for the annual performance employee incentive bonus administration.
• Responsible for participating in various compensation surveys as requested.
• Consulted on payroll and employee benefits operations of the enterprise.

MISCELLANEOUS
• Accountable for understanding and abiding by role, department and company expectations pertaining to policies, procedures and all other applicable requirements.
• Accountable for the managing of the enterprise drug test policy as it relates to pre-employment, post-accident and random testing procedures.
• Accountable for ensuring applicable driver’s license checks are completed and drivers are compliant with regulations.
• Accountable for upholding confidentiality of all employee matters.
• Responsible for overseeing the performance of assigned direct reports to ensure they are following all proper role and company processes, procedures and expectations.
• Responsible for approving activities related to wellness and employee events.
• Responsible for travel as business dictates and ability to accommodate a flexible schedule to meet workload needs.
• Responsible for the preparation of and adherence to the department budget.

  Qualifications

Education / Experience:

 • Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited institution in related field; and/or minimum of 15 years’ equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of educations and experience, required.
• Involvement of all facets of labor relations, personnel and safety to include state and federal regulations, required.

Knowledge:

 • Proficient in all functional entities such as staffing/recruiting, benefits management, training and development, employee relations and organizational design and development, required.
