Soil-tek is an erosion control, seeding and tree planting contractor, headquartered in Grimes, Iowa.

We are looking for environmental professionals to join our Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Management Services department. 

The SWPPP Inspector position is responsible for safely conducting thorough construction site stormwater inspections.

Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, needs to be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently and as part of a construction team. Experience in stormwater inspections and/or construction is preferred, but not required. 

Job Requirements:

Must have valid drivers license and maintain clean driving record.

Must be able to continuously walk construction sites, for long periods, in all weather conditions

Must have proficiency in use of electronic devices

Must be willing to travel 1-2 days per week as required

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
