Description of responsibilities
Distech Controls is looking for a proactive individual who will have the ability to manage his/her projects autonomously. The Quality Coordinator will have to demonstrate leadership, creativity and team spirit in an environment combining passion and energy. He/she will be responsible to promote the Quality Management System internally as well as deploy and maintain the processes required to achieve Distech Controls’ quality objectives.
Under the supervision of the Quality, IT and IS Manager, the Quality Coordinator participates in the management of the quality system (ISO 9001) and in the implementation of preventive/corrective actions. More specifically:

Enforce the Quality Management System internally.

Participate in the revision/improvement of processes.

Define new processes in parallel to the organisational development.

Train new employees on Distech Controls’ Quality Management System

Train employees when deploying new or updated processes.

Plan and carry out internal audits in collaboration with process owners:
-
Prepare the annual audit calendar. Train internal auditors when required;

Carry out internal audits with the internal auditor team. Write reports;

Suggest corrective/preventive actions;

Follow up on the decided corrective/preventive actions

Continuously follow up on non conformities, in collaboration with process owners and the Quality Manager:

Participate in root cause analysis

Suggest corrective/preventive actions

Follow up on the decided corrective/preventive actions

Carry out Customer Satisfaction surveys. Participate in the results analysis.

Ensure relevant performance indicators are available and follow results of a few of them.

Actively participate in the various committees related to the Quality Management System.

Work in collaboration with business units in order to ensure consistency of the methods applied.
Requirements
Qualifications
-
French and English, written and spoken
-
Bachelor in Business Administration with major in Management, Operations Management or other equivalent
-
1 to 3 years or relevant work experience in a business environment.
Asset
-
Knowledge on ISO 9001 or other Quality Management System standards
Skills

Excellent communication skills, both in French and English: listening, writing and speaking

Interpersonal skills to collaborate with people of different levels/departments.
