Our residents’ quality of life is greatly affected by the work of the housekeeping department: an orderly, attractive environment, sanitation, and the care that is taken with their personal laundry. More importantly—residents (and their families) form caring relationships with all of the staff: you would not be just an anonymous face.

We are looking for a housekeeper who loves to keep things tidy and spotless, and also enjoys interacting with older adults. The usual work schedule is Monday through Friday, with one rotating weekend a month. Starting wage is depending on experience.

Duties include:

• Clean common areas: dusting furniture, cleaning windows, sanitizing doorknobs and handrails, etc.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and water fountains
• Clean resident rooms: mopping and vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, changing bed linens, dusting, etc.
• Help with laundry 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, carts and other work spaces and equipment 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior housekeeping experience (health care, retirement community or hotel preferred)
• The ability to work patiently and appropriately with residents who have age-related changes with hearing, vision, mobility, memory and other abilities
