POSITION OVERVIEW: Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas as assigned. Operates a forklift, crane or other power driven equipment to load or move materials. Supplies production areas with needed materials from inventory. Load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, shelves, or trucks.
JOB DUTIES:
- Receives and inspect material and ensure bills of loading are correct
- Verify quantity & quality of material received
- Records raw material into inventory
- Empty scrap luggars and performs miscellaneous tasks as required
- Wrapping and banding of pallets
- Computer data entry
- Operates overhead crane and fork trucks while moving product
- Load trucks with outgoing products & unload trucks with incoming material
- Complete & maintain all required paperwork
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
- Strong customer focus & friendly attitude
- Ability to function well in a team environment
- Frequently required to life and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Prior crane operation experience is a plus
- Prior forklift experience is a plus
