Job Summary

Mix, package, and ship Portland based packaged mixes in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Work with a production team to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.

  • Operate bagging equipment (Small bag baggers, 3000# Spec Mix, and Tube sand.)
  • Properly operate all motorized equipment for which your job assignment calls for (floor sweeper, skid loader, front-end loader or forklift).
  • Perform equipment inspections as required or needed.
  • Set up the palletizer and be able to clear alarms/problems when they occur. 
  • Operate the material recovery system.
  • Assist in performing product inventory.
  • Assist the maintenance personnel in repair action when needed or required.
  • Load/unload trucks as required, in a timely manner, assuring accurate accountability of product. 
  • Perform the correct computer functions to provide outgoing truck drivers with the required paperwork.
  • Ensure that all will call customers sign for received goods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. 
  • Good communication skills with a working understanding of the English language.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift and stack items weighing 55 to 100 pounds.
  • Possibility of high dust contamination.
