WSB is looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing Landscape Architecture group in our Rochester, MN office. This person will be responsible for leading and managing all phases of design projects of varying types and sizes from initial client outreach to post-development follow up as well as collaboratively supporting projects led by other groups / individuals.

What You Will Do: You will provide design, project management and task management leadership to the team; work directly with clients and public groups throughout the design process on a variety of landscape architecture and land development types of projects including site development plans for commercial and residential projects, civic spaces, parks, wayfinding, urban core, streetscapes, and public art integration; prepare bid documents for publicly bid projects; develop proposals in response to RFPs / RFQs; maintain involvement in and support of marketing efforts; and provide mentorship to less experienced professional staff.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate will have 10 or more years of experience working in a professional design firm focusing on landscape architecture with strong design / project management skills as outlined above; a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture; a valid Minnesota Landscape Architect registration or the ability to obtain such within six months; experience with marketing & business development including proposal writing, scope/fee budgets for work; demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects efficiently and profitably; effective communication skills with internal and external clients; a desire to expand our Landscape Architectural services; a valid driver’s license; and a clean driving record. Our preferred candidate will have experience and relationships within the Rochester, MN region.
