Job Summary

This very visible position delivers on our commitment to outstanding customer service. Our Service Professionals are responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to our customers. Customer needs must be identified and addressed while following all Sunstate Equipment Co. Safety policies and procedures.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • High School or GED preferred
  • 3 months of relevant service experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and current medical card or ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team
  • Self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • Flexibility to perform service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis.
  • Topnotch communication
    • Oral & Written

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Dismounting/ mounting any type of commercial tire on drop center, semi-drop center and multi-piece rims to service customer's needs as directed
  • Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
  • Performing roadside service calls on a continuous basis
  • Determining repairable tire conditions and making such repairs
  • Documenting work performed accurately and according to company standards
  • Exercising proper maintenance of assigned Service Vehicle including appearance. This includes cleaning and maintaining service equipment.
  • Complying with DOT regulations including driver's license for class of truck operated
  • Maintaining a clean driving record
  • Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements
  • Wearing proper PPE, using cages, and following all other safety policies and procedures
