We are looking for a highly motivated results oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service/Office Assistant and make a difference from the start.  We are looking for that "Can Do" attitude that is communicated in a positive way. 

 

Summary of Position: This position is a hourly not exempt position. This position is responsible for diverse list duties that assist in the operation of a busy manufacturing office. Primary focus will be on customer service with back-up of book keeping and purchasing.    

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent 2-5 years customer service in a manufacturing setting.  

Skills Required: Good manual dexterity, proven ability to read and write English, good communication skills, advanced computer skills, specifically Excel, good with numbers, detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task. A general understanding of accounting principles is beneficial. 

Other Training Beneficial: Knowledge of AS/400 Business Operating Software, 10 Key adding machines, Microsoft Office Suite of products and Lotus Notes.

  • Other duties as needed in the normal operations of the company

  • Ability to reach horizontally and vertically with arms. Sufficient dexterity to manipulate small to large objects and print or write legibly.
  • Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility and stamina to lift, carry, push or pull objects which may frequently exceed 10 pounds in a series of functional tests which clearly simulates the work environment.
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Shall perceive the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business related equipment, and handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.
