We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work in our Redmond, WA office or onsite at one of our Puget Sound area jobsites. Position responsibilities include in-depth involvement in all phases of electrical construction projects including customer relationship building, proposal development, estimating, design and preconstruction, and coordination for construction, while ensuring that projects are proceeding on schedule and within budget.

Job Summary
- Serves as main contact for customers (GC, Owner, etc.) at all times; Interacts with customer(s) regularly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Maintains accurate, current and complete records for all assigned projects to measure and document both project and team progress and results from planning through closure of the project
- Reviews contracts and negotiates with general contractor and subcontractors
- Develops budgets for each project; Organizes project tasks in a clear and concise project plan that clearly defines all project requirements
- Develops baseline schedules for projects to reflect accurate labor, material, equipment and subcontract time requirements and project constraints; Measures baseline against actual progress and implement appropriate corrective action as necessary
- Provides Schedule of Values for each project; Ensures billings and job cost projections are accurate and on time
- Completes project budgets and monitors job cost weekly for accuracy; Completes monthly work in progress (WIP) reports for review
- Manages budgets by comparing planned to actual project costs and by implementing necessary corrective actions; Identifies and tracks items by cost codes and cost types
- Develops change order proposals for all changes in scope from contract
- Promotes safe jobsites; Works with Safety Team to ensure all safety issues are properly addressed
- Provides leadership to project team including mentoring and development of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Coordinators and Field Supervisors
Qualification Requirements
- 15+ years project management experience with a commercial electrical contractor; design-build experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, electrical engineering or equivalent experience in the electrical trade and training
- Experience managing large projects AND/OR multiple electrical tenant improvement and small projects is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes required
- Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas: electrical estimating, preconstruction planning and budgeting, scheduling, cost control, client relationship development, communication and leadership
- Customer service focus with the ability to define and document customers’ needs, address technical concerns and provide solutions
- LEED accreditation a plus
- Self-starter capable of working independently and as a member of a team
