Position Summary:
This position will source complex components for vehicle assembly. Negotiate, place and administer contracts for vehicle assembly requirements. Implement commodity strategies established by management. Maintain supply base at optimal level. Multiple department interface and administrative duties required.
Responsibilities:
- Work with requiring activity to ensure clear identification of vehicle assembly requirements
- Negotiate cost and product with potential suppliers
- Compare competitive quotes for best value
- Develop potential suppliers
- Draft complete file documentation to ensure determination of fair and reasonable pricing
- Enter and maintain all information in SAP
- Multiple department interface and administrative duties required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS degree required in a Supply Management and/or Business related field
- MBA, CPSM, and/or CPDS preferred
- 3-5 years experience preferred. Will consider an entry level candidate with a Business or SCM degree
- Strong Computer and communication skills required
- Analytical thinking, negotiating, and problem solving skills required which include Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel 10%-50%

Working Conditions:
No extreme working conditions. This position requires one to work both alone and as a team in an inside work area while maintaining a regular work schedule.
