Your local Rodda Paint store is looking for someone to fulfill the duties of an assistant manager. Manages the daily operations of the Rodda Paint store. Responsible for all store activities and results including: customer service, in-store sales, staff leadership, fiscal/material management and asset (personnel, cash, product, equipment, and facility) protection; assures timely and accurate reporting; directly supports commercial sales efforts in the market. QUALIFICATIONS:
•Ability and willingness to delegate tasks and responsibilities and be successful through the coordinated efforts of other staff, self and the commercial sales representatives working with this location
•Efficient, personalized delivery of commercial & retail services in a high-touch, high-energy environment
•Excellent and proven product-use planning and ordering
•Possess or rapidly develop product knowledge in architectural, related sundries and equipment
•Able to relocate to the market with reasonable financial support
•Demonstrated history of "good cost-center management practices," i.e., efficient use of JDEdwards, ordering, shrink control, receiving, transfers, expense control, samples, write-offs, product and facility security, facility and vehicle maintenance
•Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift merchandise up to 75 lbs. to waist level on a consistent basis
•Current and valid driver's license in the state where applying
