Founded in 1977, Kenseal has joined forces with A.H. Harris & Sons to become one of the largest specialty construction product distributors in the country.  This opportunity is located in our Charlotte distribution center at 2217 Distribution Center Drive (please, no walk ins - address shared for determining interest in position only).  Shift is M-F days.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage operations in respective warehouse, which contains hundreds of specialty building products.  
• Operate daily and conduct safety checks on forklift and possibly pigment/paint tinting machine.  
• Receive and inspect inbound warehouse deliveries and transfers.  Verify bill of ladings and purchase orders. 
• Pick orders for, interact with and help load orders for daily will-call customers.
• Stage orders for drivers to deliver to construction sites or transfer between warehouses.
• Schedule and prepare orders for delivery by common carrier and UPS.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts, organize materials by shelf life, and help manage bin locations.
• Advocate and adhere to all Department of Transportation and company safety requirements, including those associated with hazardous materials.
• Work collectively with other handlers, sales representatives and drivers to ensure best of breed customer service.

Requirements:

• 2+ years related warehouse experience required
• Recent experience operating forklifts is a must 
• High School diploma (or GED) required
• Good communication skills required; past experience picking for will-call customers a plus
• Must be able to lift and manually move up to 49 pounds of force.
• Willingness to take (upon offer) pre-employment/random drug test and criminal background check.
