Join our collaborative and forward thinking team for a unique opportunity to engage in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ingenuity and unique product design ability. The Intern will support and assist our Product Development department in the design of new innovative products that are on trend in the eyewear market, research new concepts and technologies in the optical industry. If you enjoy creative design, being on the front lines of new trends and learning how age, gender, geography and style affect the consumer, this may be the right role for you. This internship will hone in on technical knowledge using applications such as Solid Works, 3D Max, Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro with competence in making prototypes.  Students that have prior experience utilizing 3D printers and poses hand sketching talent are encouraged to apply. Degree programs that are most suited for this position would be Product Design, Fashion Design or Industrial Design. The right candidate is detail-oriented and resourceful with strong creative communication skills and strength in Microsoft Excel.

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program and have a minimum GPA of 3.3
  • Positions will require a commitment of:
    • 20+ hours per week during the school semesters
    • 30+ hours per week during the summer/winter intersessions
  • Must be responsible, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A proven ability to initiate and maintain strong personal relationships
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
