Jr. Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

This entry level position helps design and build new products from prototype to production in a medium sized company setting. Will assist senior engineering personnel to develop drawings and documents, design fixtures and mechanical components, hand build prototypes, and communicate with vendors as required. Apply what you learn from college in real world exciting and challenging designs. Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical / Civil / Aerospace / Chemical / Process Engineering or equivalent or relevant military training and experience
• Strong interest in design and build of best-in-class space, aerospace, and military products
• Comfortable and good at building models and products by hand
• Great project and time management skills
• Not afraid to multi-task and work under tight deadlines alone or as a member of a team
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Solidworks and AutoCAD; ANSYS count as a plus
• Travel less than 10%
