We're excited about hiring an Warehouse Associate and Fabricator for our Charlotte branch (training available on Fabrication).  A company of HD Supply, A.H. Harris, a proud subsidiary of an 11,000 associate firm, has 53 warehouse distribution locations from Maine to North Carolina.  Our Associate opportunity is a full-time year-round in-house position that will not require routine visits to our customers in the field.

Job Requirements:

• Fabricator  concrete reinforcing rebar products used primarily in commercial construction
• Perform as machinist in operation of rebar equipment to include rod chomper table and wall bending machine
• Measure and ensure accurate bends and cuts when forming material / reinforcing steel to customer specifications 
• Unload, receive, pick orders and perform other material handling activities in our distribution warehouse
• Drive and operate forklift 
• Shift is Mon-Fri 7am-4pm with an hour lunch or 7am-3:30pm with a half hour lunch (employee can choose) 

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1-2 years of general warehouse and forklift driving experience 
• High school diploma / GED
• Machinery and/or steel fabrication experience helpful
