Cemstone is seeking a Driver Recruiter focused on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified drivers. The Driver Recruiter will also concentrate heavily on identifying and developing talent pipelines with trade schools and other available resources and attending local recruiting events in the Midwest. 

Responsibilities

• Aggressively search and develop driver leads using resources: referrals, cold calls, internet recruiting resources, and other media.
• Establish and network driver candidates through driver training schools and other recruiting events in the Midwest.
• Present information regarding driver openings through direct in person interactions or by means of group presentations throughout the Midwest.
• Review driver applications in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for qualifications and complete phone screens.
• Schedule and interview applicants that meet the qualifications of the position.
• Consult with Regional Managers and make conditional offers of employment based on background check, physical and federal drug screen.
• Coordinate with HR to schedule pre-employment testing for applicants and onboarding meetings with HR and Safety department.
• Ensure positive candidate experience through customer service and timely communication with candidate and management.
• Train and instruct new drivers on customer service standards and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Federal Motor Carrier regulations.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience leading recruitment strategies including networking with driver training schools, cold calling candidates and social media and/or other advertising.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written to build strong relationships while promoting the organization.
• Excellent computer skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and social media marketing.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
• Related Bachelor’s degree preferred.
