Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of a broad range of digital marketing, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and content marketing, social media, search engine marketing, and email marketing, with the goal of targeting and strategically building audiences and traffic for Asplundh’s (including subsidiary companies) website and social media channels. Effectively track and analyze ROI for digital media campaigns.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Effectively lead and manage a variety of marketing projects (especially SEM and SEO) from initiation to implementation, across channels and business units.
- Evaluate emerging SEM technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Project management of e-commerce responsive design website projects (timelines, budgets, scopes)
- Provide inputs on website functionalities (related to business goals)
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies. Grow, manage and coordinate all content and engagement on social media platforms, including: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Implement strategies to effectively track analyze and report on ROI for all digital media campaigns and in-market activities. Communicate, monitor and measure performance of digital agency partners with business leaders.
- Prepare project briefings, conduct 3rd party and competitive research, lead discussions with internal departments and help analyze program results
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 – 4 years of experience in a corporate marketing department or the account management department of an advertising agency or digital team
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Mindset to think strategically and analytically about projects and tasks; identify challenges, work to accomplish defined objectives, contribute to planning an effective strategy, manage and execute the required marketing tactics against the strategy
- Have a mindset to be a creative problem solver and a creative thinker
- Strong project manager with the ability to multi-task and proactively manage projects of varying types and sizes to meet the defined objectives and strategies, on time and on budget
- Communicate professionally and in strategically grounded manner.

- Ability to work collaboratively on a team, yet be comfortable running a project or task independently.
- Technically savvy with high-level of proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Peoplesoft and ATS systems preferred.
- Able to work through necessary channels to accomplish outcomes in fast paced setting; understanding of processes and continuous improvement.
