FST is seeking an operationally minded Business Development Manager to expand our advanced technology markets including Microelectronics, Life Sciences, Renewable Energy, Data & Telecom Centers and R&D Labs. The areas of concentration will be 3rd Party QA/QC & Testing, Validation & Commissioning and project support Staff Augmentation. The selected candidate will have deep roots and solid client relationships in one or more of the markets mentioned above. This position is considered to be a “seller-doer” as the responsibilities don’t stop post contract award.  You will be tasked with operational management within the division.

The position can be located in our Chandler, AZ or Hillsboro, OR office.  Applicants interested in working remote are also encouraged to apply.

        Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Research and develop industry trend studies
  • Generate focused and targeted sales leads
  • Attend pre-bid client meetings
  • Analyze RFQ’s and participate in estimating
  • Prepare and present bid documents and presentations
  • Take the lead on contracts and change management
  • Create and implement a comprehensive client management program

 

Requirements:

 

  • 15+ years of relative experience
  • Numerous client references
  • Exceptional written and oral skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Exceptional software skills such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • A proven history of successfully closing deals
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • Have the instinctive ability to be fearless but not reckless
