Position Summary:
Frank Liquor Company in Middleton, WI is now hiring for a Vice President, Sale & Marketing. The Vice President, Sales & Marketing is responsible for managing all non-administration functions of their division including sales, pricing and promotions, point of sale purchasing, supplier and customer relationships, and supervising mid- level sales management and sales staff.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews, monitors and evaluates the performance of the sales team and takes appropriate actions as needed when unsatisfactory trends occur
- Plans and conducts general sales meetings and product presentations
- Responsible for planning, directing and controlling activities of sales representatives
- Secures and expands distribution in assigned trade channel by setting benchmarks and calling on accounts both independently and with sales representatives
- Manage sales departments including mid-level managers, sales representatives and merchandising
- Coaches, trains and motivates sales representatives to achieve monthly priorities, quarterly volume goals, and distribution and feature/promotion goals.
- Review monthly on and off-premise priorities to identify opportunities, underperforming accounts or potential loss of distribution within an account
- Assist in creating local brand programs
- Assign sales goals (distribution / volume)
- Provide consistent and regular communication to sales supervisors and representatives
- Work with supplier representatives and assist in meeting supplier goals
- Participate in shelf resets
- Maintain knowledge of product portfolio and promotions
- Establish and maintain product pricing to meet margin and profit requirements for new and existing brands
- Approve and supervise monthly product promotions including deal levels, incentives, merchandising and distribution goals
- Authorize purchase of point of sale materials to be utilized in merchandising programs
- Primary point of contact for all supplier relationships in division. Meet and work with suppliers to assist in meeting their sales and distribution expectations
- Maintain positive relationships with customers through account visits
- Resolve customer complaints as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field highly preferred
- 10+ years sales experience and some experience within the beverage industry required
- Management experience required
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and as a part of a team
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Effective oral and written communication skills including accuracy
- Excellent computers skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities

- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
