  • Telephone On Hold Messages, Energy Savings Club membership Program, Advertising Tracking Report: Monitor advertising tactic effectiveness monthly for service and HVAC replacement leads.
  • Weekly Sales Meetings: Share weekly successes and goals. Discuss questions, comments and concerns with group.
  • Trade Show Events: Organize, plan and track the preparation for all events in which Altrol will have a booth.
  • Work closely with Nexstar Marketing coach to implement effective proven marketing for the company.
  • Creating the Annual Marketing Plan& Budget: Create annual marketing plan, calendar and budget. Responsible for adhering to the marketing budget.
  • Customer Mailing List Creation: Create a list of new clients added since the last Altrol direct mailing and get to printer for our next direct mailing.
  • Marketing-Sales Collateral Materials: Develop, design and print effective marketing and sales collateral materials.
  • Marketing Update: Communicate current promotions and advertising to Altrol employees monthly.
  • Reconcile TV Statements: Track TV advertising affidavits to ensure that advertising purchases are completed, reconciling all invoices and statements.
  • HVAC Post-Install Process: Coordinate HVAC post installation process including, creating job folders, registering equipment, documenting component and warranty information and sending thank you notes and gifts.
  • E-mail Marketing: Manage e-mail marketing program including subscribers and sending filter reminders.
  • Social Media: Provide guidelines for PR and promotional marketing on Facebook and Twitter.
  • Website Updates: Update website ( with new content.
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of product marketing strategies including advertising campaigns and sales promotions.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing all radio, TV, and newspaper advertising.
  • Coordinate activities such as sales promotions, working with other department heads as required.
  • Manage online review generation program (Starbuzz).

  • Two or more years of progressive experience in marketing and sales.
  • Minimum two years’ college or technical education; comparable experience will be considered.
  • Strong leadership qualities; excellent organization skills.
  • Able to comprehend and analyze large amounts of information quickly.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
  • Must believe in and display, integrity and a moral values system.
  • Must be willing to pursue and actually participate in continuing education and must be an active supporter of company pricing policies.
  • Must be able to utilize phone, cell phone, computer, printers, copiers, intercom, and fax at a high expertise level.

Education and/or Experience:

Required: Two-year College and or Technical school degree with an Associates degree a plus.


  • Vendor invoice co-approved with Operations/Accounting Manager.
  • Manage air-time invoices within budgetary requirements.

Language Skills:

Must be able to read and write English at a high level in order to develop policies, procedures, proposals, mission, and vision documents. Must possess the ability to proofread at a very professional level.

Mathematical Skills:

Must be able to successfully complete mathematical aptitude evaluation.

Reasoning Ability:

Must be capable of applying sound business judgment to all decisions.

Physical Demands:

Regularly requires sitting, walking, bending, and lifting for prolonged periods of time.

The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands feet and fingers to handle or feel objects and must be capable of bending, reaching, and crouching. Able to handle or feel objects and use tools and equipment and must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, climbing and crawling.

Must have command of all five senses sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Must hear and speak well enough to conduct business over the telephone or face to face for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
