Summary
The maintenance technician will work alongside HVAC service technicians for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Job Duties
- Perform assigned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings
- Assist with service, preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of HVAC equipment - split systems, packaged rooftop and chillers
- Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Complete required electronic documentation daily on handheld device
- Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in specified territory
- Performance based merit increase
Requirements
- 1+ year experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment including contactors, motors, compressors, refrigerant circuit charge
- EPA universal certification
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn how to read schematics
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication and customer service skills
- OSHA 10 certification (company will provide, if needed)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
