Summary

The maintenance technician will work alongside HVAC service technicians for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.

Job Duties

  • Perform assigned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings
  • Assist with service, preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of HVAC equipment - split systems, packaged rooftop and chillers 
  • Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Complete required electronic documentation daily on handheld device
  • Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in specified territory
  • Performance based merit increase

 Requirements

  • 1+ year experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment including contactors, motors, compressors, refrigerant circuit charge
  • EPA universal certification
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn how to read schematics
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • OSHA 10 certification (company will provide, if needed)

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test
