JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

Today is awesome! You showed up for work early,  got a cup of coffee, said hi to all your teammates & all of your equipment and supplies and day is laid out and ready to go from the night before, and you called your first client to help them get ready for the install they are getting today. The call sometimes is a challenge but you’re always ready to step-up to that challenge to make sure that your work is of the highest quality and the customer is thrilled with the service they receive. You wrap up the first call of the day and get ready to move on to the next call. You’re already looking forward to tomorrow!

Job Duties:

Work with the team: You stay in contact with your supervisor and your team to make sure the work orders are completed efficiently, timely & profitable – everyone pitches in because it’s ultimately about serving the client to the highest level and creating a WOW experience for them. 

Develop your expertise: You WOW our Clients, knowing that you’re ultimately helping people live comfortable and safer lives. You stay on top of the call & board to make sure everytning is correct, efficient, and will serve the client. Over time, you gain a growing expertise at finding creative solutions to challenges that arise. You respond to emergencies with safety as your top priority. 

Become a trusted professional: You keep your desk neat, clean, and well-maintained so that it is effiecient and safe. You’ll learn to prepare all software to accomplish your job  (e.g. scope of work, work orders, bids, equipment inventory, call boards, financing,  etc.) because you know that this keeps everyone informed – from the client to the team in the field. 

Job Requirements: You love to learn: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. You have a drive to be the best at what ever is thrown at you. Most importantly, you have a drive to learn more because you know that it serves everyone – from the client to the team to yourself. You’re even willing to be cross-trained in other trades/positions. 

You’re a Happy people-person: You love the puzzle and adventure of understanding and completing tasks & challenges you’re posed with every day. At the same time, you’re comfortable talking to a homeowner and professionally educating them on what their options are. Financing , Waranties, and scheduling? No problem. 

You’re ready to work: You have a driver’s license, a ready-to-work attitude, and no problem handling the physical demands of the job – such as Being on time/early or balancing the home/business carreer. You’re capable of working alone and with a team. (Hey, if this is a surprise to you then you probably shouldn’t be applying for this job!).

You’re a professional: You are clean, neat, and well-groomed in appearance and you understand that safety is paramount. You won’t work anywhere that is unsafe but you know safety is a two-way street, so you won’t do anything unsafe either.
